Paradise Preserved: Congo
PROTECTING THE GORILLA FORESTS
Something exceptional is happening in the rainforests in the north of the Republic of the Congo: here loggers are not destroying the environment but are helping through their work to preserve the tropical forests. The IFO timber company is working closely together with nature conservationists. And successfully: the forest of this timber company alone is home to 70,000 gorillas — more than anywhere else.
