GOOD NEWS FROM PLANET EARTH – How we save forests

The state of forests is alarming – but there is good news: There are committed scientists and environmentalists around the world who are protecting and reforesting endangered forests. In the African Sahel region, they are stopping the spread of the desert, in Brazil, descendants of African slaves are saving the rainforest on the Atlantic coast and on Borneo, the forestry authority is planting fig trees to protect endangered orangutans.
