Paradise Preserved: Lake Constance
RESCUING THE BIRD LIFE
The picturesque Lake Constance region is characterised by intensive agriculture – with dramatic results for the bird life. Since 2003, the ornithologist Prof. Peter Berthold has been creating new habitats for birds – alongside cultivated landscapes. The film follows a unique project, which is bringing storks, northern bald ibises and rare songbirds back to the region.
