GOOD NEWS FROM PLANET EARTH – WATER

When water is the topic, we mainly think of disastrous droughts, overfishing or wars over water ownership. But if we look more closely, we can also find surprisingly good news. The desert city of Las Vegas of all places is becoming a role model for water conservation; fish farming, which has fallen into disrepute, can actually be sustainable and clean; and a border river in the Middle East is helping to bring about peace in a region of conflict. They are exemplary and astonishing stories from the world of water that encourage and inspire hope.
