GOOD NEWS FROM PLANET EARTH – How we protect the oceans

Around 70 percent of the earth’s surface is covered by oceans. Tens of thousands of volunteers in Senegal, for example, who are reforesting millions of mangroves, show that we can contribute to marine conservation despite pollution, overfishing and rising water temperatures. In the Caribbean, two young female researchers are successfully fighting against coral death, while a Chilean company is fishing in a way that preserves marine animal populations.
