GOOD NEWS FROM PLANET EARTH – How we make transportation better

Our consumption is constantly growing, many goods are transported by truck and this contributes to the climate crisis. Engineers from all over the world are looking for alternatives: Scientists in Magdeburg are developing an autonomous, battery-powered cargo bike that is set to become an alternative to cars in the city. Swedish and German researchers are supplying trucks with electricity during the journey so that they can also travel long distances electrically. And a committed company from Leipzig wants to use a new loading technology to transfer more goods from truck to rail.
