Eco-Crimes – Fight for the last Indian tigers

At the beginning of the 2000s, India was in shock. The tiger, the symbol of the nation, was hunted mercilessly in order to smuggle the skins especially to Tibet. As a result, Indian tigers were on the brink of extinction. But India took action and fought poaching head-on. A success story that the documentary shows in an extensive search for clues: Today, over 3000 tigers live in India, more than twice as many as 20 years ago.
