“Good News from the Planet – How we protect moor, heath and meadow” as best film in the ‘Nature Conservation’ category of the European Wildlife Film Awards

We are delighted that our film “Good News from the Planet – How We Protect Moor, Heath and Meadow” was named best film in the “Nature Conservation” category at the first-ever European Wildlife Film Awards (EWFA) organized by the German Wildlife Foundation in Hamburg’s HafenCity at the 15.02.2025! The laudation said:

“This work has a very refreshing approach: the positive is put in the spotlight […] The film shows a lot of vision, as even complex topics in the field of climate and nature conservation are examined in a very well-founded and yet entertaining way […] This is how a good documentary should be: fun, refreshing and inspiring new thoughts!”

A great success, because that’s exactly what we want to achieve with our film series GutenNachrichtenvomPlaneten: to counter all the negative headlines with constructive stories and thus encourage people. Congratulations to our head writer of this episode Christian Heynen, our producer Tanja Winkler and the whole team!

The film is a production for BR – Bayerischer Rundfunk and MDR – Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk in cooperation with Arte. Thanks to our editors Doris Fenske (BR), Katja Ferwagner (BR/ARTE), Sonja Scheider (BR/ARTE), Ines Drahonovsky (MDR), Ralf Fronz (MDR) and Christian Cools (Arte)!
